FAKE A SMILE A DAY!

Smiling-Couple

We are all fake. We are all phonies at different levels, whether we acknowledge it or not. We tend to fake it partly because it is so hard to be accepted in society, if we reveal our inner selves.

Faking is part now of our system. There is fake advertising, fake imitations of products and even fake love. Funnily enough, we are not at all bothered by that falseness. It is common to fake everything. We end up having fake conversations with people, thus consequently fake friends.

Despite all this falseness, we firmly believe that we will find that true and sincere feeling and emotion. That sincere feeling of love, friendship or trust. Ironically, if our intentions and lifestyle is all about faking, how can we have expectations of truth? These two are plainly poles apart. You just cannot expect truth out of falseness.

                                 LIKES DEFINITELY ATTRACT!

We are truly living a false life. Doing jobs we do not want to, meeting people we hate with our might and we have been taught to love the materialistic life. In the end, this materialistic thought-system ended up enslaving us. It give us immense fake pleasure to make people believe that we are happy or as we say it: “I’m Fine!” . We wish we were someone else: a superstar, a movie star or a rich billionaire kid.

If we have to fake so much everyday, I wonder why cannot we we fake to sincerely smile? What I mean is that why don’t we make it a habit to smile for no reason? Why not smile falsely with your heart, mind and soul? Why not smile falsely with your being? Why not smile as if your life depends on it? Why not smile till your cheeks hurt, and tears fall even though it is fake at first?

Surely at some point or the other, we would become accustomed to falsely smiling. I am pretty sure that we’ve doing that for ages now. Why not incorporate the same principle but with feelings and emotions. We’ve been smiling to please the other. We think it is the social norm to please the other.

Make it a must to please yourself first! That is not selfishness. That is rather self-investment.

But remember something, when you smile this time, remember to think that you are sincerely smiling for your own self. You are smiling because your face deserves to be beautiful and there is not a smiling face that looks ugly. You are smiling sincerely for yourself because as mere mortals, you deserve to see someone else to smile sincerely, whether the smile is for you or for someone else. In this age of utter isolation, we badly  deserve to see a form of sincerity to give us the courage to change for the better.

I believe, we would be so falsely sincere to our smiles that we would end up being sincere to ourselves. We would end up realizing how important it is to be sincere and truthful to our own wants, needs and desires. If we have got to fake about something, why not fake about things which will make yourself better? Why not fake about outcomes you want in your life?

This form of faking however, is different. It is rather using the current state of our minds to achieve what we desire. This form of faking requires imagination. It requires us to go and find that feeling deep within our core. It is almost as if you fake it till you achieve it. Keep faking with your might and guts and feelings until you achieve it.

IF WE CAN FAKE SO MUCH ABOUT THINGS WE DO NOT WISH AND WANT?
WHY CANNOT WE FAKE ABOUT THINGS THAT TRULY MATTER TO US?

SMILE BECAUSE WE DESERVE TO SAVE OURSELVES AND THE OTHER!
